Mr. Lincoln “Pete” Childress, Jr., died Thursday, July 15, 2010.
He is survived by one son, Sedrick Alcorn (Ashley) of Newport; two daughters, Amber Alcorn (Timothy) of Jonesboro, and Monique Marshall (Rocky) of Newport; three brothers, Tommy Childress of Texas, James Childress of Newport, and John Townsend of California; five sisters, Marilyn Walker of Bryant, Margaret Goode of Little Rock, Martha Alcorn of Ohio, Zelma Ward of California, Josephine Brown of Jonesboro; and 20 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 22, 2010 at First Baptist Church. Burial will be in Quiet Cemetery.
