Mr. Bobby Sain Pollard, 61, of Oil Trough, died Sunday, Jan. 31, 2010 at UAMS Hospital in Little Rock.
Born July 22, 1948, in Newport, he was the son of Robert and Opal Pate Pollard.
He was a member of White River Baptist Church, Master Electrician with Skelton Electric and an instructor for State of Arkansas Electrical Apprenticeship Program. He was a devoted husband, father, papa, brother and friend.
Survivors include his wife of 36 years, Brenda Pollard; one son and daughter-in-law, Timothy and Tarah Pollard of Farmington; one daughter and son-in-law, Stephanie and Sean Conrad of Little Rock; grandchildren, Annabelle Brooke Conrad of Little Rock and Tage Robert Pollard of Farmington; and one sister and brother-in-law, Paula and Dwayne Millikin of Oil Trough.
Bobby was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Jimmy Grigsby and Jerry “Ducky” Pollard and one brother-in-law, Charles Burrow.
The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 4, 2010 at White River Baptist Church in Oil Trough. Burial will be at Maple Springs Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 3, 2010 at Dillinger Funeral Home in Newport.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to American Red Cross or American Cancer Society.
