Mr. John Kiger, 48, of Lavaca, passed away, Wednesday, Jan. 13, 2010 at Lavaca. He was born Oct. 4, 1961 in Dumas to Sherman Kiger and Mary Emma Murphy Kiger.
He is survived by one son, Jonathan Nicholas Bell; two sisters, Pam Corley of Erick, Okla., and Connie Fricker of Columbus, Ga.; two brothers, Jim Kiger of Lavaca, and Tom Kiger of Booneville; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held Saturday, Jan. 23, 2010 at 11 a.m. at the Church of Christ in Branch.
Arrangements under the direction of Smith Mortuary of Charleston.
