James Dean Brinkley, 58 of Bradford, died July 25, 2010. He was born April 10, 1952 in Bradford, to John and Lovie (Shaw) Brinkley.
He is survived by his wife, Anita Brinkley of the home; his father and step-mother, John and Betty Brinkley; two daughters, Holly Hooker of Bradford, and Jayme Valencia of Bradford; two brothers, Johnny Brinkley of Bradford, and Mike Brinkley of Bradford; one sister, Anita E. Brinkley of Marion; two step-sisters: Debbie Sue Smith and Cindy Shores; four grandchildren and five step-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Lovie P. Brinkley; and one sister, Carolyn Sue Brinkley
Visitation was Tuesday, July 27, 2010 from 6-8 p.m. at the Bradford Baptist Church in Bradford. Funeral services were held Wednesday, July 28, 2010 at 10 a.m. at the Bradford Baptist Church with Brother Tom Lewis officiating. Interment followed at Heard Cemetery in Bradford with Brother Llano Robinson officiating.
