Mrs. Fannie Posey, 84, of Bradford died Monday, Oct. 19, 2009.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Posey; one son, Frankie Yates; one grandson, Danny Yates; her parents, Edward and Effie Walker; two sisters; and one brother. 
She is survived by one son James “Jim” Yates (Doris) of McCrory; one daughter, Dorothy Poole (Marlin) of Bradford; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. 
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 23, 2009 at the Bradford Assembly of God Church with burial in Oakland Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 22, 2009.
