Pamela Brown, age 46, of Newport, passed away Sunday, June 14, 2009 at Newport. She was born Aug. 3, 1962 in Newport, the daughter of Bobby C. Brown and Barbara Ratliffe.
She is survived by three daughters, Talisha Brown, LaTisha E. Brown and Derieka Brown, all of Newport; her mother, Barbara Ratliffe of Newport; her father, Bobby C. Brown of St. Louis, Mo.; three brothers, Henry Brown of Newport, Trevor Ratliffe and Courtney Ratliffe, both of Little Rock; one sister, Sharon Borders of Newport; her grandmother, Emma Brown of Newport; and one grandchild.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 20, 2009 at Greater Morning Star Baptist Church with Rev. Rickey J. Everett, pastor, and Elder Verlenzie Cox officiating. Interment will be in Gum Grove Cemetery in Newport. Visitation will be Friday, June 19 from 4-6 p.m. at Taylor & Kimbrough Funeral Home.
