Mr. Danny Ray Smith, 50, of Tuckerman died Friday, Jan. 29, 2010 at Jonesboro. He was born Jan. 5, 1960 in Newport, the son of Richard and Faye (Malone) Smith. Danny married Miss Kathy Sharp on Nov. 20, 1981.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Rickey Smith; and his father-in-law, Franklin “Bo” Sharp.
Danny is survived by his wife, Kathy Sharp Smith of Tuckerman; two sons, Richard Shane Smith and Franklin Corey Smith, both of Tuckerman; his parents, Richard and Faye (Malone) Smith of Tuckerman; one brother, Jerry Smith and wife, Missy, of Tuckerman; his mother-in-law, Helen Sharp of Newport; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 2, 2010 at Jackson’s Newport Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Danny Taylor officiating. Interment followed in Gracelawn Cemetery.
