Mrs. Tammie Cooper Foster, age 44, of Cabot, died an untimely death on Thursday, June 18, 2009.  She was born Sept. 18, 1964 the daughter of Bobby Cooper and Peggie (Duncan) Whitener. 
Mrs. Foster worked at Kroger as a Supervisor in North Little Rock and was of the Baptist belief.  She enjoyed listening to music, playing cards and loved sports.   She was an avid fan of the University of Arkansas Razorbacks.  She had a special bond with children and loved spending time with her sons, nieces and nephews and her smile and laughter could always light up any room.
Mrs. Foster was preceded in death by her father, Bobby Cooper on Sept. 20, 1997.
She is survived by her husband of 24 years, Virgil Foster, Jr. of Cabot; two sons, Walter Ryan Foster of Cabot and Travis Don Foster of Cabot; her stepfather and mother, Billy Ray and Peggie (Duncan) Whitener of Bradford; one brother, Michael Wayne Cooper of Newport; one sister, Debbie Cooper McDonald of Benton; one brother-in-law, Robby Foster; one sister-in-law, Melody Foster Perry and husband, Gary; Parents-in-law, Paul and Joan Prokopf of Tuckerman and Virgil Foster, Sr. of Tuckerman and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday, June 22, 2009 at Jackson’s Newport Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Will FeLand officiating.  Interment followed in Gracelawn Cemetery in Tuckerman.  Visitation was held Sunday, June 21, 2009 from 6-8 p.m.
Pallbearers were Buddy Garnett, Mark Wilson, Milton Wilson, Jr., Benny Malone, Caleb Douglas and Landon Cope.
