I am writing on behalf of the Newport School District retired employees. This summer those who retired before the 2002/2003 school year were notified that their district sponsored life insurance policies would be terminated.
The family of Liz Bridgeman would like to thank everyone who came out and contributed to the benefit at Jacksonport Saturday, Aug. 1, all the ladies who made wonderful cakes and all the merchants who gave such wonderful gifts for the auction.

To the Editor:
I would like to share my story with another mom or anyone else that has someone they love in their life that has had an alcohol or drug addiction illness.
Big "Narvel" you spoke volumes and touched on some things that were deeply embedded in my mental "Greyhound Time Capsule." I would first like to send my condolences out to Leslie's family and children who I'm sure are having a rough time right now. Words can't express my feelings right now but I will do my best.
