Through three quarters of Friday's NOAA Conference boys game, Muldrow and Checotah were tied at 25-all.
But the fourth quarter belonged to the Bulldogs, who outscored Checotah 9-2 to post a 34-27 win in a game played at Checotah.
The Bulldogs improved to 2-0 on the season, both conference wins and both on the road.
Muldrow's Caleb Armer had nine points, including two big 3-point baskets in the second half. One of those put the Bulldogs ahead for good in the fourth quarter.
Muldrow 60, Checotah 33
GIRLS — The Lady Bulldogs also moved to 2-0 overall and in NOAA play after building a 35-18 halftime lead on the road Friday.
Taylen Collins had 22 points to lead Muldrow. She had 12 points in the first half; then added 10 more points in the third quarter.
Also for the Lady Bulldogs, Hannah Boyett had 13 points, all in the opening half. She also made three 3's.
Pocola 53, Panama 28
GIRLS — The Lady Indians improved to 3-0 on the season as they outscored the Lady Razorbacks in the first quarter, 17-0. Pocola also led 32-8 at halftime.
Shakyrah Gladness had 12 points to lead the Lady Indians. Panama (0-2) got 13 points from Haley Weaver and 12 from Aubrey Powell.
Howe 68, Smithville 47
GIRLS — Jalei Oglesby had 17 of her team-high 26 points in the first half as the Lady Lions improved to 4-0 on the season with a road win Friday.
Justyn Lynn added 11 points in the win for Howe, which led 15-10 after the first quarter before extending its lead to 12 points at halftime, 39-27.
Howe 55, Smithville 52
BOYS — Trey Nation's 3-point shot with 12 seconds left lifted the Lions to the win Friday. Howe also moved its record to 4-0.
Reid Frasher had 10 points to lead the Lions in scoring.
Arkoma 72, Bokoshe 47
BOYS — Arkoma outscored Bokoshe 30-2 in the first quarter as the Mustangs went on to the win Friday. The Mustangs (2-1) also took a 45-10 halftime advantage.
Kobe Ragsdale and Josh Killion each had 10 points for the Mustangs, with Killion hitting two 3's. Bokoshe's Johnny Traylor led all scorers with 12 points.
Bokoshe 57, Arkoma 51
GIRLS — Up by one point after three quarters, Bokoshe outscored the Lady Mustangs 14-9 in the fourth to pick up the win Friday.
Kim Swindle had 26 points in the win for the Lady Tigers (1-2). She also hit three 3's, and was a perfect 12-of-12 from the foul line. Kalce Kimbrough added 10 points as well for Bokoshe.
Madison O'Neal had 19 points, Maddie Carlile 14 and Libby Sharp 10 for the Lady Mustangs (1-2).
Central 83, Warner 40
BOYS — The Tigers moved to 2-0 on the season with a decisive win at home Friday, as they took a 47-15 halftime lead.
Dillon Cheater scored 25 points and grabbed nine rebounds in the win. Jamison Brewer added 17 points and hit five 3's as well for Central.
Stilwell 43, Poteau 33
GIRLS — Stilwell built an 18-12 halftime lead and extended it to 33-20 after three quarters in Friday's NOAA Conference game.
Lexi Wood had 11 points to lead the Lady Pirates (0-2, 0-2).

BOYS — The Pirates dropped to 0-2 overall and in NOAA play after Friday's defeat at Stilwell.
Ryan Ward had 18 points and Kyson Hardaway added 10 for the Pirates. Both also hit two 3-pointers apiece.
