Bulldogs pick up 81-68 victory over Corning

The Tuckerman Bulldogs used balanced scoring to get back into the win column Tuesday night as four players scored in double figures en route to an 81-68 victory over Corning.
The Bulldogs jumped out to a 21-16 advantage at the end of the first quarter before leading 38-32 at intermission.
Tuckerman broke the game open in the second half as they outscored Corning 23-17 to build a 61-49 advantage after three periods.
Justin Watkins’s double-double, 22 points and 10 assists, paced the Bulldogs while Timmy Stevens poured in 20 points including six three-pointers.  Chase Gates added 16 points while Dylan Thatcher chipped in with 11 points while also dishing out eight assists.
The Tuckerman junior boys also picked up a conference victory with a 57-35 victory over Corning.
Both the junior and senior boys will return to action Friday night as they host Harrisburg at 6 p.m.
