For the third year in a row the Arkansas State athletics department will be holding the women’s football clinic for Red Wolves fans on Thursday, July 23, from 5-9 p.m. at the ASU Football Complex.
Ladies will get the opportunity to run drills and learn skills on the ASU Football Stadium field, they will participate in meetings with coaches to learn the rules and regulations of football, participants will also get hands on experience with different positions. Dinner will be provided for the event and participants will also get the chance to win raffle prizes.
“Being the third year we have done this event, we are looking forward to a great turnout this year for our Women’s Football Clinic,” said Gleen Hart, Assistant Athletic Director for Marketing and Promotions. “This is a great opportunity to share the great sport of football with the women of our community. We expect it to fun and informative for all participants.”
Registration for the event costs $25 and can be done on the AstateRedWolves.com website or by calling 870-972-3930. Those wanting to participate should sign up by July 17.
Proceeds from the event will go to benefit the Tickets For Kids Program and the event will be sponsored by the J and S Restaurant Group.
