The Newport Dragstrip will be hosting a two-day July 4 Blowout featuring $3,600 in total purse plus trophies (per day).
There will be a $60 entry fee for Super Pro with the winner earning $1,000. Second place will receive $300, $150 will be awarded for third place and fourth place will receive $50 (Prize money is based on 25 cars).
Buy back will be $30 and is for first and second rounds only.
In the Foot Brake division, the entry fee is $40 and the winner will take home $600. Second place will receive $250, $100 will go to third place and $50 to fourth place (Prize money is based on 25 cars).
The buy back will be $20 and is for first and second rounds only.
The entry fee for the Street Class will be $30 and the winner will receive $350. Second place will earn $125, $75 will go to third place, and $50 will go to fourth place (Prize money is based on 20 cars). The buy back will be $15 and is for the first and second rounds only.
The Bikes Class will feature a $20 entry fee with the winner receiving $300. Second place will take home $100, the third place bike will earn $50 as will fourth place (Prize money is based on 25 bikes).
The buy back will be $10 and is for the first and second rounds only.
Overnight camping is welcomed, spectators are urged to bring their lawn chairs and coolers. Gates open at 8 a.m., time trials are at 11 a.m. and eliminations begin at 1 p.m.
