Arkansas State senior Chase Ware has signed a free agent contract with the Cincinnati Reds and will report to the team’s training camp in Sarasota, Fla., today.
Ware, a 6-4, 210-pound right-hander from Southaven Miss, was a two-time All-Sun Belt Conference pitcher for the Red Wolves.
He finished the 2009 season at 5-3 with an ERA of 4.22.
