A baby boy, Brody Morrow, was born at Harris Hospital Jan. 1, 2012 at 11 p.m. weighing in at 8-pounds, 2.2-ounces and was 20 inches in length.
Proud parents are Eric and Kitizie Morrow of Newport. This is the second baby for the Morrows; older brother, Brandle, is two-years-old.
Maternal grandparents are Debra Strickland of Newport and Walter Duty of Newport. Paternal grandparents are Jim and Cynthia White of Oil Trough.
Each year when the first baby is born, the hospital and several local businesses donate items for the new baby. This year donations were made by: IBERIA Bank, Daises N Such, Purdy’s, Norman Baker Pharmacy, Fred’s Pharmacy, Darling’s Pharmacy, USA Drug, The Gizmo, Harris Hospital Auxiliary, Mirian Ballard at Village Hair & Nail Salon and Brenda Jones at Shear Magic.
