Michelle Huff has announced her candidacy for Circuit Judge, District 3, Division 2. District 3 comprises Jackson, Lawrence, Randolph, and Sharp Counties. Huff, a resident of Evening Shade, is a lifelong resident of Sharp County. She is currently a partner with the Blair & Stroud law firm in Batesville, where she has been employed for the past eighteen years. Huff served as a deputy prosecuting attorney in Sharp County for six years prior to joining Blair & Stroud.
She was twice appointed as a Special Associate Justice to the Arkansas Supreme Court and currently serves in the House of Delegates for the Arkansas Bar Association.
Huff graduated from the William H. Bowen UALR School of Law in 1993 and the University of Central Arkansas in 1990. She has been married to Richard Huff, formerly of Batesville, for twenty-eight years and they have two adult daughters, Hannah and Morgan.
"I have had the honor and privilege of working on a variety of cases over the past twenty-five years and those cases have included jury trials and bench trials. These cases have involved everything from divorce/custody, real estate, probate, banking, boundary line disputes, to multi million dollar personal injury cases. It is my sincere belief that these experiences along with exposure to a variety of cases, and the training I have received from some of the finest attorneys in the state will provide me with the most solid foundation possible for the position of Circuit Judge."
I would very much appreciate your vote on May 22, 2018, and the opportunity to serve as your judge.
