Bobbie Lea (Parr) Sudduth passed away March 24, 2018

Bobbie Lea (Parr) Sudduth, 86, of Conway, formerly of Newport, departed this life on Saturday, March 24, 2018, at Conway Healthcare & Rehab Center.  She was born on February 17, 1932, in Tuckerman, Arkansas, the daughter of Arthur and Wreatha (Martin) Parr.

Mrs. Sudduth was a 1950 graduate of Tuckerman High School; after high school she attended college in Memphis for three years and obtained a degree in Nursing. She was a member of Arkansas Nursing Home Nurses Association; she served as treasurer, organized conventions and wrote news letter for the association. She began working for Pinedale Nursing Home in 1970 and remained there for over 25 years and served as Director of Nurses for several of those years.  Mrs. Sudduth enjoyed cross stitching, quilting, reading, cooking, making baby quilts, but above all, she loved spending time with her family and friends. She was a member of Wesley Memorial Methodist Church in Conway, Arkansas.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Sudduth; sister, Verneil Halliburton; brother, Marion Parr; nephew, Benny Don Halliburton; and her parents.

Mrs. Sudduth leaves behind her daughter, Joy Bateman of Conway; two grandchildren, Cole Bateman and Brooke Bateman; many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be 10:00 Wednesday, March 28, 2018, at Dillinger Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Gracelawn Cemetery.  Friends may visit at the funeral home on Tuesday, March 27, 2018, from 5:30 until 8:00.
